RYTK400 지도자 교육을 5명의 교육생과 함께 잘 마무리했습니다.
늘 사진을 찍어야지 생각하지만, 막상 수업이 시작되면 기록보다 사람과 수업에 더 집중하게 됩니다. 이번에도 사진은 많이 남기지 못했지만, 오히려 그만큼 더 깊고 진한 시간이었습니다. 사진보다 오래 남는 것은 결국 함께한 호흡과 배움의 밀도라는 생각이 듭니다.
저에게 RYTK400은 RYTK300+보다 더 특별하고 소중한 과정입니다. 300이 지도자의 기초를 세우는 시간이라면, 400은 그 기초 위에서 한 사람의 지도력이 얼마나 깊어질 수 있는지를 함께 만들어가는 과정에 가깝습니다. 단순히 동작을 익히는 것을 넘어, 왜 이 호흡이 필요한지, 왜 이 티칭이 필요한지, 수련생의 몸과 마음을 어떻게 읽어야 하는지까지 함께 들어가는 시간입니다. 그래서 RYTK400은 늘 저에게도 도전이고, 동시에 정말 아끼는 교육입니다.
이번 과정에서도 우리는 단순히 진도를 나가고 끝내는 수업을 하지 않았습니다. 함께 호흡 티칭을 연습했고, 쉬는 시간에는 간식을 나누어 먹으며 긴장을 풀었습니다. 궁금한 아사나를 질문하고, 각자의 몸과 현장 경험에 비추어 다시 이해해보는 시간도 가졌습니다. 명상을 통해 지도자인 내가 먼저 내 중심을 바라보는 순간도 있었고, 각자의 수업 안에서 있었던 재미있는 에피소드를 나누며 많이 웃고 많이 공감했습니다. 이런 시간들은 교재 몇 장으로 설명되지 않습니다. 그러나 바로 이런 순간들이 실제 현장에서 수업을 살아 있게 만듭니다.
특히 이번 과정에서 더 뜻깊었던 순간은 수정쌤의 RYTK300+ 지도자과정 자격 취득이었습니다. 7개월 동안 꾸준히 배우고 연습하며 걸어온 시간이 있었기에 그 결과는 더 값졌습니다. 먼저 자격을 취득한 선배님들의 축하 속에서 그 순간은 더욱 따뜻하게 빛났습니다. 아쉽게도 그 장면을 사진으로 남기지는 못했지만, 오히려 그래서 더 마음에 또렷하게 남아 있습니다. 수정쌤, 진심으로 축하드립니다.
그리고 이번 RYTK400 지도자 교육을 함께해준 수정쌤, 지선쌤, 막내로 사랑을 많이 받은 화정쌤, 김해에서 먼 길을 오가며 꾸준히 함께해준 재영쌤, 그리고 이안쌤께도 깊이 감사드립니다. 한 분 한 분의 태도와 진심이 있었기에 이번 과정은 더 부드럽고 단단하게 흘러갈 수 있었습니다. 저에게도 이 시간은 단순한 교육 운영이 아니라, 다시 한 번 왜 제가 지도자 과정을 소중하게 생각하는지를 확인하는 귀한 시간이었습니다.
저는 20년 넘게 요가를 수련해왔고, 14년 넘게 요가원을 운영하며 현장에서 회원들과 지도자 교육생들을 만나왔습니다. 현재 임은주쁘라나요가 대표로 수업과 교육을 이어가고 있으며, 사단법인 한국치유요가협회 부회장, 빈야사 요가 아카데미 회장으로서 지도자 교육과 심사, 교육 운영에 함께하고 있습니다. 또한 요가 전공과 자연건강학에 대한 공부를 이어오며, 해부학적 이해와 프라나의 흐름을 함께 연결하는 교육을 고민해왔습니다. 그래서 제가 지도자 교육에서 가장 중요하게 생각하는 것은 자격증 자체보다 현장에서 살아 움직이는 지도력입니다.
임은주쁘라나요가의 RYTK400은 단순한 수료 과정이 아닙니다. 호흡, 움직임, 정렬, 티칭, 명상, 그리고 사람을 읽는 감각을 함께 다듬어가는 과정입니다. 좋은 지도자는 빠르게 만들어지지 않습니다. 질문하고, 연습하고, 실수하고, 다시 조율하며 조금씩 깊어집니다. 저는 그 깊이가 결국 수업의 신뢰를 만들고, 수련자에게 안전과 몰입을 전해준다고 믿습니다.
이번 과정을 함께한 다섯 분 모두가 각자의 자리에서 더욱 단단하고 따뜻한 지도자로 성장해가기를 진심으로 바랍니다. 사진은 많지 않지만, 함께한 시간의 밀도는 분명히 남아 있습니다. 호흡을 나누던 순간, 질문이 오가던 장면, 웃음과 축하가 이어지던 시간들 속에서 이번 RYTK400 역시 제게 오래 남을 교육이 되었습니다. 함께해주셔서 진심으로 감사합니다.

I recently completed the RYTK400 teacher training with five dedicated trainees, and it became one of those moments that stayed deeply in my heart. We did not take many photos this time either. I always think about capturing the moment, but once the class begins, my attention naturally turns to the people, their breathing, their questions, and the flow we are creating together. In the end, what remains longer than photos is the depth of the learning we shared.
For me, RYTK400 is even more precious than RYTK300+. If 300 builds the foundation of a teacher, 400 deepens the actual presence, sensitivity, and teaching ability needed in real class settings. It is not only about learning postures. It is about understanding breath, refining teaching language, reading students more carefully, and guiding with greater clarity and warmth. That is why this program feels both challenging and deeply meaningful to me.
Throughout this training, we practiced breath cueing, shared snacks during breaks, discussed difficult asanas, meditated together, and reflected on real stories from our own teaching experiences. These moments made the training feel alive, human, and deeply connected.
One especially meaningful moment was celebrating Teacher Sujeong’s completion of the RYTK300+ certification after seven months of sincere effort. Although we did not capture that moment in a photo, it remains clearly in our hearts. I sincerely congratulate her on this meaningful achievement.
I also want to express my gratitude to Sujeong, Jiseon, Hwajeong, Jaeyoung, and Ian for walking through this journey together. Their sincerity, consistency, and warmth made this training even more memorable and meaningful for me.
As the director of Lim Eunju Pranayoga, with over 20 years of yoga practice and more than 14 years of studio experience, I value teacher training as a living process of growth. I continue my work as Vice President of the Korean Therapy Yoga Association and Chair of the Vinyasa Yoga Academy, while focusing on training teachers who can guide with skill, presence, and sincerity.
At Lim Eunju Pranayoga, RYTK400 is not simply a certification course. It is a process of deepening breath, movement, alignment, teaching, meditation, and the ability to truly read people. I believe a good teacher is shaped slowly through practice, reflection, questions, and real experience.
To all five trainees, thank you deeply. This RYTK400 journey became a precious memory for me as well, and I sincerely hope each of you continues to grow into a grounded and warm-hearted teacher in your own way.
